Simulation-Based Engineering for Complex Technical Challenges

Engineering – Software – Consulting

UNIKE supports industry, research organisations and universities in Europe and the USA in conducting in-depth analyses of complex technical issues, identifying risks at an early stage, reducing the number of physical prototypes and enabling sound technical decisions to be made.

Key areas of expertise:
Structural Simulation & Analysis · Fluid Dynamics · Multibody Dynamics & Motion Simulation · CAE Software · Technical support · Training courses

Complex problems require robust solutions:

  • Identifying vulnerabilities and risks at an early stage
  • Compare and evaluate options thoroughly
  • Reducing the number of physical prototypes
  • Manage development costs more effectively and ensure technical decisions are soundly underpinned
  • Effectively integrating simulation methods into development processes
  • Aerospace
  • Automotive
  • Machinery and equipment industry
  • Consumer products
  • General manufacturing

Our services

Our experts can support you in the following areas

Structural Analysis FEA

According to the definition of the boundary conditions, the occurring stresses and deformations of the component or assembly are calculated under linear and nonlinear conditions.

Multibody Dynamics & Motion Simulation MBS

Multibody dynamics simulation MBS investigates complex dynamic systems composed of rigid or flexible bodies, joints, springs, dampers, and other components. It enables the analysis of movements, loads, energy flows, contact forces, and other physical properties of the system. MBS can also be used to investigate the effects of design changes and optimize the performance or behavior of the system.

Computational Fluid Dynamics CFD

The task of fluid mechanics is to investigate and describe the behavior of flowing media such as liquids and gases in terms of pressure and velocity, occurring flow forces, energy losses, as well as changes in density and cavitation, in mathematical formulas.
