Off-Road Driving in MSC Adams: Flexible Component Deformation
The video shows elastic deformation of flexible components during the simulated off-road manoeuvre. Displacements are displayed in millimetres. For visibility, frame deformation is magnified 20 times and deformation of the upper front-left control arm is magnified 50 times.

A STEP model was converted into an articulated vehicle model with flexible bodies in MSC Adams: a simulation-based digital twin for engineering development. Correlation with measurements and physical driving tests is being prepared.
